Pamella Seay graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1989, where she was a member of Law Review and received the AmJur award for the highest grade in Constitutional Law.
After graduating from USC Law, Pam moved to Florida and passed the Florida Bar Exam, joining the Sarasota law firm of Dykema Gossett as an associate attorney. A year later, she also passed the Bar Exam in South Carolina and returned to Columbia to join the law firm of Berry, Dunbar, Daniel as an associate practicing in the firm's international law section.
She remains eligible to practice law in both Florida and South Carolina, and is Florida Bar Board Certified in International Law.
In 2006, Ms. Seay chose to return to law school, earning an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in International law, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. At Stetson, she participated as a student editor on the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy, and was the recipient of the highest grade in a course on Chinese Law.
Service to the Bar and the community are important aspects of Pam's law practice. Her service has included:
- The Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee
- The Florida Bar International Law Section, Executive Council, CLE Committee Chair
- The Florida Bar 20th Judicial Circuit Fee Grievance Committee, past member
- The Florida Bar International Law Certification Committee, past chair
- The South Carolina Bar Professional Responsibility Committee, PR Education Sub-Committee
